Visit to Baltimore & Washington, DC with Mimi and Papa

We drove down to Baltimore to meet up with my mom and Sherwin a few weeks ago. They were in our neck of the woods and had a great time catching up.

We had a great time visiting and they got to hang out with a much more active Riley. I’m starting to understand the proverbial “you’ve grown so much since I saw you last” aunt/grandma comments. It makes a lot more sense to me now!

We’ve noticed Riley’s affinity toward R&B/Hip hop artist Justin Timberlake. While eating in his chair, he always perks up and starts swaying back and forth when Justin comes on the iPod. So.. we’ve deduced Rock Your Body as his theme song. I’ll grab some video soon so you can see his little body repeatedly lurch forward and back to the beat.

On a related note, my mother (Riley’s grandmother) informed me I did not like music as a child. This is shocking considering my disdain for dancing. Shocking….
